Nick Polito, D.D.S.

Dr. Polito received his doctorate of dental surgery (D.D.S.) in 1983 from the University of Illinois.  After graduation Dr. Polito practiced full-time in his own private practice and has maintained a very busy and successful family practice for over 20 years.  Continuing education has always been a cornerstone of Dr. Polito's dentistry and the area of cosmetics has grown to become his passion.  Dr. Polito has completed over 500 hours of cosmetic training.   Hands on training with the world's most prominent cosmetic dental educators has resulted in Dr. Polito refining his abilities to a true level of excellence.  This was confirmed by his peers when he received his accredited status with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Polito has entered international cosmetic competitions and received awards for outstanding cosmetic treatment.  Dr. Polito is also certified in Invisalign treatment and enjoys this area of dentistry.  He has completed over 300 hours of continuing education with the United States Dental Institute as well.    Dr. Polito is also well educated and has a great deal of experience with full mouth comprehensive restorative procedures and implants.  Dr. Polito has been recognized as an authority in cosmetic dentistry and has been quoted numerous times in magazines and newspapers.  He also serves as a consultant for a highly respected dental journal as well as a consultant for the Kavo dental equipment company.  He is one of only five dentists worldwide currently serving on the written examination committee for the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.  Dr. Polito has served in this position for four years.  There are only eight other dentists in the state have accomplished the accredited status and approximately only two hundred dentists in the world have this status.  He has placed thousands of esthetic restorations and has earned the praises of both his patients and peers.
